No Status Spousal Sponsorship Better WithinCanada / Outside

I came to Canada in 2017 on a study permit. I completed my studies and skipped co-op. I could not obtain post graduation work permit. I have been out of status now for 2 and half years. Now I am getting married to someone in Canada who is a permanent resident. Should my husband submit sponsorship undertaking application for me from within Canada or do you suggest that I have to leave Canada and submit from outside?
