Canadian Unique Client ID – How to find UCI on Application
-
What is my unique client ID? Where can I find my UCI on my application?
-
You can find your UCI on your Permanent Resident card. It contains either 8 or 10 digits. You can also find your UCI from the correspondence that you received from IRCC.

Client ID (Client Identification Number) or UCI (Unique Client Identifier) is an 8 or 10 digits unique number assigned by the Government of Canada and is used for any communication with the Immigration Refugees, and Citizenship, Canada (IRCC). It has either:
four numbers, a hyphen and four more numbers (Example: 0000-0000) or
two numbers, a hyphen, four numbers, a hyphen and four more numbers (Example: 00-0000-0000).
It is displayed on the PR Card and all other correspondence (Example: Letters, Stickers, Record of landing etc.) from IRCC. Always use your UCI Number when communicating with IRCC.
