Work Experience A Home Child Care Provider Pilot Occupations

Me and my husband are Canadian citizens and we have 3 children aged: 2,4, & 7. We have a very busy work schedule so we have decided to sponsor someone under the new child care provider pilot. The person we are sponsoring has work experience from 2 different employers. Both of the jobs were in different occupations (one was as a home child provider and the other was as a home support worker). Can the person combine both of their work experiences even though they are in different occupations?

As per IRCC, YES you can use work experience from more than 1 employer to apply for the Home Child Care Provider or Home Support Worker Pilots. The condition is that the work experiences must be in the same eligible occupation. This means that you CANNOT combine work experience from 2 different occupations but you can combine work experiences from two different employers as long as your duties were the same.
