Canadian Experience Class Application/Visit Canada Attend Wedding

Hello Sir,

I am 31 year old and a Canadian Citizen Looking to marry next year April 16 2021.

My Fiance lives in Canada and is on a work permit and has 12 months of relevant experience and got 7.5 bands on ILETS recently. She has 459 points to get a Permanent Residency.

Due to Covid 19, her Mother cant come to Canada but she has a valid 10-year visitor visa to Canada.So my question is:

1. Can Arshmeet get assistance for you to get PR and if she does can she bring her mom in time for the wedding for April.

2. Should we instead do a civil marriage by December January, and would that allow her mother to come to Canada for the official wedding at the gurdwara as

As per CRS scores mentioned by you that is 459, Your Fiance should make an express entry profile. The current CRS score cut off for Canadian Experience Class was 454. There will be next draw in coming days which can be around 454-460. If she has an active express entry profile, she can have chance to receive an Invitation to Apply.

2. If her mother already has a valid visitor visa for Canada. She needs to have a written authorization for travelling to Canada by IRCC. This is totally based on the purpose of visit. You can plan your wedding in April 2021 and call her mother to be a part of it as an immediate family member. You can still go for the civil marriage first and religious marriage later on if there is an issue of status in Canada for Arshpreet.
