How are the points awarded under the CRS ranking?

CRS points are based on following factors:
1. Core / Human Capital Factors 460 (with spouse), 500 (without spouse)
2. Spouse or Common-Law Factors 40
3. Skill Transferability Factors 100
4. Additional Points 600
Maximum Total Points 1200
Further these factors are divided into Age, Education, First Official Language, Second Official Language, Canadian Work Experience, Level of Education, Foreign Work Experience, Trade Certificate and Language Proficiency, Arranged Employment, PNP, Brother, sister, aunt etc. that are living in Canada.
