Are IELTS & CELPIP tests required in order to submit a study permit application?

Hello Ravinder,

IELTS or CELPIP test results are NOT required at the time of submitting the application for a study permit as long as you have been unconditionally accepted by the DLI (Designated Learning Institute) in Canada. Having said that you will need IELTS OR CELPIP results at the time of submitting the Permanent resident (PR) Application. IELTS OR CELPIP results are valid for a period of 2 years from the date of issue. It depends what you want to do, what are your plans and what you want to accomplish. Good luck.
