Job Offer 50 CRS Points Express Entry LMIA Or Job Offer Letter

I have a question regarding my express entry profile. Is it compulsory to have a LMIA to get 50 points or I can use the job offer letter given by company where I work?

Job offer means you have an approved LMIA (HRDC) from your employer and he is willing to give you employment till one year of you become a permanent resident. If you were already working on a work permit which was LMIA based or employer’s name is mentioned on your work permit, then you can get 50 points for express entry. But simply being a job holder does not mean that you have a job offer. Job offer intends to support you for your PR.
