Restoration Period 90 Days Exact Count From Where Will Start ?

I have a question about restoration days. My uncle got refusal for his work permit application. He has 90 days to apply for restoration. If he applies for another application in 10 days, he will be on implied status. Will the days for restoration period still be counting? or he will have restoration period start from second application decision date (if application gets refusal).

As per my understanding of this question, the answer is there is no pause on the restoration period. Once status is lost, there are 90 days to apply for restoration application. If you will submit application within this period, your application will be processed and will take a bit longer than normal application. If your application gets refused then there will be no time left for restoration as 90 days are already over. There is very rare chance that you will get an option to apply restoration application again. To know if you are eligible to apply for restoration, it is usually mentioned in the refusal letter.
