Super Visa Application Approved Do Medical Exam Required Again
-
My parents have super visa of 10 years of duration which was approved 5 years ago, They still have five years of super visa left on their passports. They visited me for two years and then returned to India within time. They did not visit me from last 2 years. Now, I want them to visit me in Canada and spend some time together. Do they need to go for a Medical examination, the same way they did at the time of application? Is medical insurance also required for their visit to Canada?

Your parents are not required to go for a medical examination to enter Canada on a super visa. They must have medical insurance for 365 days from the day they intend to enter Canada and that insurance must have medical expense coverage of up to $100,000. They have already medically examined themselves when they applied for a super visa application five years ago. If your parents apply for a visitor record application in Canada to extend their duration of stay then they will be asked to go for a medical examination in Canada.
