Wife Landed Canada FSW Wants To Sponsor Husband But No Job
-
My friend came to Canada under FSW class recently with her two dependent children. Her husband was a non-accompanying spouse in the application because she was not scoring enough CRS points in EE. Now, She is in Canada but not working. She has two kids to take care. How can she apply for her husband’s PR if she is not working?

She can sponsor her husband to Canada because income is not a factor when it comes to spousal sponsorships. She can provide her plan for future to support her husband when he will be with her in Canada. She can make use of her savings as proof of funds for support of sponsorship application. The sponsor should not be on any kind of social assistance for a reason other than disability.
