How do I fill out my application for a citizenship certificate if I don’t know everything about my parents or grandparents?

If you don’t know the information asked on the form, enter ‘unknown’ in the spaces provided. If it doesn’t apply to you, you can write ‘Not Applicable’ or ‘NA’.

If you don’t have enough information about your parents or grandparents, your application may be delayed and/or IRCC may not be able to assess your application.
