My cousin wants to come to Canada on a study permit. Can you please tell me as to how much funds are needed when applying for a study permit?

Yes, your cousin will need to show that he has enough funds to support his temporary stay in Canada while on a study permit. The amount that your cousin needs to show is CAD$10,000 (does not include tuition fees). Additional funds will be required for every family member who will accompany you to Canada.
