I am applying for federal skilled worker class for me and my family. I have heard something about the ‘Gift of Deed’ by close family members to use as proof of settlement funds. Can you please explain me about this Gift of Deed and Can it be used for my application?

Gift of Deed is a supportive and irrevocable monetary gift coming from your siblings, parents and close relatives. This gift must be executed with faithfulness and relevant gift of deed document duly sign by the giver, the receiver and 1 witness must be presented.

Yes. You can use Gift of Deed for your application but you should deposit the gifted money to your bank account as well and submit the letter from the giver to the receiver with six months of bank statement of giver’s bank account. You should make sure you prove the relationship with your relative.
