I applied for my PR application under Canadian Experience Class. I received passport request in April 2020. I was asked to inform if there are any change in circumstances. I had plans to get married in April 2020. I updated IRCC about my marriage. Now, they stopped my passport request and asked for additional questions for my husband. How can I deal with it now?

You have already reported changes in your marital status to IRCC. Therefore, you have received a letter to provide information about your spouse. You will have to fill out the requested immigration forms for your husband and submit birth certificate, passport, identity documents, educational documents, and police clearance certificate for him. After this your spouse will be assessed for his eligibility and background check. He will be requested to undergo biometrics and medical exam. It will add on additional processing time of about 8-9 months to your application. You need to wait until processing of your spouse’s application completes. You and your spouse will get passport request together again.
