I am applying permanent resident travel document for my parents. Since they came to Canada in 2012, they never worked. I need to provide two pieces of ID which shows their 5 years of residence in Canada. Which documents can be provided as they were not getting any pay or pension in Canada?

As per the checklist IMM5627, you can submit:

    Bank statements

Notice of assessment from CRA for the five years

any club memberships for the last five years

Basically you need provide the documents which are relevant to the determination of residency obligation for last five years or since the date they became PR of Canada.
