Indian Passport & PR Card Renewal Which Were Lost / Expired

My Indian passport has been expired which I lost almost two years ago. I need to renew my PR card as well. How long it will take if I need it on an urgent basis?

I have few questions about this situation:

1. Did you report your lost passport to the police?

2. Is your PR card already expired or valid?

3. Do you have proof of urgency? What kind of urgency it is?

  1 ) Yes I have reported to the police that my passport got lost.
  
  2 ) My PR Card is expiring in 3 months.
  
  3 ) I need to travel to India to see my sick great grandmother.

    If you are going on a short visit to India, contact the Consulate General of India. I hope you would be able to get your passport on an emergency basis. Show your email or letter from India if your great grandmother is admitted in hospital etc. With respect to your PR card renewal, you can send the application now or you can submit it upon your return to Canada.
