Can Refugee Claimant Apply Under TR to PR The Hearing is Not Set

As I was hearing a lot about TR to PR application which are for temporary foreign workers in Canada working under non-healthcare essential worker. I have more than 2 years of experience as material handler and my refugee claims hearing is not set yet. Can I apply under that pathway?

The TR to PR pathway’s eligibility requirements clearly state that the person:

be in Canada

have valid status in Canada

plan to live outside of Quebec

meet or exceed the language requirements

be currently employed

have eligible work experience

not be a refugee claimant in Canada

So, refugee claimant in Canada are not eligible to apply under this program.
