    Hello,

I have a question. I have never filed tax in Canada. Can I still apply for Canadian citizenship?

    Kindly advice.

    Regards,

    Dilpreet

No. Filing your taxes is a mandatory requirement to become eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship. You need to have filed taxes for the three of the taxation years that fall fully or partially within the five years immediately before the date of application.
